City Hall has been receiving numerous calls regarding the emergency service fee. The $1.50 fee is charged to every account in Bethany. The ordinance passed in July 2006. The fee provides the residents of Bethany EMSA ambulance services, but does not allow our residents a free ride to the hospital. If the City did not contract with EMSA there would be no ambulance service to our residents.
In the latest newsletter, the number to Public Works for recycling was incorrect. The actual number should be as follows:
