Description : Job functions include answering 911 emergency calls, dispatching, police, fire, and medical services. The successful applicant must have the ability to multi-task in an often fast paced, high stress environment. Excellent communication and computer skills will be needed. Applicants must complete and extensive background check; those with felony convictions will not be considered. Applicants must be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Applicants will complete a written exam, oral review board interview and interview with the Chief of Police.
