Part-Time Meter Reader

Description : Performs meter reading and recording for customer billing. Investigates possible unusual situations with water meters that could be leaks, malfunctioning equipment and improper/illegal use and reports to public works. Although the employee works independently and is often physically removed from supervision, duties are performed within the framework of pre-established policies and procedures.

This position requires a current Oklahoma Driver’s License and the acquisition of a Class D Water & Sewer License within one year of employment. Position could become full time at a later date.

The pay range for this position is between $14.88 and $23.83 per hour.
