Persons who conduct open burning are not exempt or excused from the consequences, damages, or injuries that may result from such conduct, nor are the y excused from complying with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and orders. Onsite inspection by the Bethany Fire Department does not excuse the responsible party from any liability arising from the actions of burning, nor any noncompliance with any and all applicable city ordinances, state statues, or federal regulations.

By submitting this application, I agree that I will be acting as the responsible party for the ignition, supervision, and extinguishment, attest that the provided information is correct and that I will remain onsite and at a constant attendance of the requested burn until such time as the fire has been properly extinguished or all involved fuels are consumed and the byproducts of combustion are properly wet down and contained.
