The Bethany Board of Adjustment (BOA) is a quasi-judicial board, in which variances or special exceptions to the municipal code of ordinances can be requested. The board meets once per month, when there is an item to be heard. Applications for a meeting with the board may be found here. The BOA consists of five members who shall be qualified electors of the city. One member shall be appointed for each ward in the city and one member shall be at large. Each ward member shall be appointed for a term of three years by the Council. The member at large shall be appointed by the Mayor. The current Board members are:
